Thanks for the updates, Marlene. And, feel better soon, please...99% of the feel better wish is for you but about 1% of that wish is for those of us that read your blog! I know I count on you to inform and your timely updates are so very much appreciated by me.

Pretty soon (I certainly hope), we will have a brief to read that I most probably won't understand and I might (actually, most probably will) need your help in understanding the points raised. :)

Did the Superior Court have to certify this record as well? Or, is that just a comment that the certified record has arrived to the Supreme Court....do you know?

I also wish for you to get well soon, Marlene. I take my hat off to you and what you are doing on behalf of Scott and the Peterson family. My only hope is that the real killer is brought to justice so that Lacy and Connor can finally be at rest.

God i see they asked for more time again.. They really have to get off the pot and file the brief. They should have been working on it for years and have it ready to go when the record got certified( pending touch ups) The time for this is now when there is other media stories making headlines. The attorneys should be on this ASAP. Everyday he is still in jail-is a day to long. It's time the lawyers work. Shame shame on them.!!!!

@Reed - i don't believe the delay is actually the cause of SP's attys - they have to wait for the court to certify the transcripts. yeah - i guess they could have (and probably did have) already had a lot done - but the final transcript still requires a careful review - who knows what might have been changed/omitted/confused in the transcription?

patience, grasshopper! (J/K!) - if it's done right the first time - then maybe this will all be over.
