The Anthony Jury Foreman speaks about suspicions of George

I had the same reaction when I watched George on the witness stand -- he just wasn't credible to me.  I don't know what his involvement was, or if his demeanor was caused by something totally unrelated to Caylee's death, but he definitely sent out some bad vibes.

I saw George and Cindy Anthony as loving parents and grandparents whose troubled daughter lied to them, stole from them, and emotionally abused them. Casey Anthony alone is responsible for what happened to her daughter.

IMO Juror #11, the foreman, has attention deficit disorder. He skipped from one subject to another without making a single coherent comment.

I can't comment personally because I really didn't watch any of this.

However, I talked this weekend with my cousin in northeastern Ohio who followed this case avidly. She specifically talked about George (the father? if that was his name) and she believed him totally.
She is of the same impression as Jane, and she seemed very convinced by what he had to say.

Anyway, sorry I can't contribute any personal opinion here, but, it's interesting how smart people have these different ideas of his credibility.

I was sick during this whole trial and unfortunately watched almost all of it. George testified several times and I saw a difference in the times he was on the stand and it made some of his moments less than credible in my opinion.

I do not have any doubt that he lied about the affair. But, I do not believe the affair was the issue with that portion of his testimony...I believe the defense was trying to show that George also had time cards from work that showed he was on the clock and was then at the girlfriend's house during those times.

gee, i thought affairs and lying about them do not a killer make....and George Anthony having a girlfriend has nothing to do with Casey killing her daughter...cracks me up, the jury say they think she did it, but there was no evidence....if there was no evidence, how the heck do they think that she did it?

Bruce! Long time! Still surfin'?
I was wondering where you went. That's a very handsome picture.

Bruce, IIRC, the foreman said the question for them was between manslaughter and accident -- where do you get that they "think" Casey killed Caylee?

Suspicion isn't evidence -- that's what you don't get. I suspect George did have something to do with Caylee's disposal, but not her death, as I do think the death was accidental. But I would not convict George of disposing of Caylee's body because I don't have evidence to convict him of that deed.

Suspicion doesn't require beyond reasonable doubt to exist -- do you understand the difference between suspicion and evidence?

People can suspect all day long that someone is guilty, but they must require evidence beyond reasonable doubt to convict.

Marlene, I have seen a few quotes to that affect.."we thought she did it, but had no proof" I just wonder how they come to that suspicion, or idea, or whatever you want to call it...I believe "beyond a reasonable doubt", has now become "beyond a shadow of a doubt"....circumstantial evidence is still evidence...in my opinion, with all due respect...by all accounts this was a great mother, a doting mother, a woman who truly loved her kid...i can see a rotten mother entering a hot body contest and partying while she knows her child is dead, a rotten mother does not care, but a good mother is devastated, crying in her beer in the bar, not getting out of bed for weeks, walking around like a zombie, etc..so, anyway, my question to th jury would be, "what led you to "suspect" that she did it" obviously something led them to that belief, some evidence..what really bothers me, forget the verdict, somebody abused a corpse at the very least, it was either george or casey, and no one is going to pay for it...and neither of them will be charged...that REALLY bothers me to no end...no justice for the little girl..

I think there will be justice because if that lady is crazy enough to do what she's accused of doing, then it won't be long before she does something else nutty and then really gets in trouble. One way or another, there is justice, even if the justice system does not dispense it....I believe this because I believe the truth always gets out eventually, if people are interested in it, even if it takes years.
By the way, I clicked on this video, and it lasted something like seven seconds and then went to some thing about Boehner, whose face I surely don't want in my mind's eye right now. *shivers* So if there's another video after that, I couldn't stay for it. But I'll look at the others.
